Daisy's Desert Dilemma Part 4

Art Trade Video Game Sequence Sketch; Pencil & Paper.

Part 4: After binding Daisy hand and foot, the Sledge Brothers pick her up off the beach chair, and with a grunt, throw her into the air! Fortunately for Daisy there is sand all around her to land into. Unfortunately for Daisy the direction they tossed her is right into a QUICKSAND pit!!!

As Daisy lands and regains her composure, her body slowly slipping into the pit is the last of her worries. Because there seems to be even more peril generated by a threat from above...

Well, if it isn't bad enough that Daisy is tied up and gagged and thrown into a quicksand pit, which may actually force her not to struggle against her bonds lest she sink quicker, but something else is about to happen in addition! Poor gal, but lucky for the rest of us, and fitting for my 100th posted dA deviation!!!

Princess Daisy: The poses required for this part of the sequence were my most challenging yet! I had to draw a mid air tied up pose for Daisy in the first panel, and then had to somewhat realistically portray a bound woman landing in sand. Now since particles are so fine I dunno how exactly you draw quicksand. Other than the body positions, the rest of her was easy, though I am still having issues with consistency.

Other characters: Just two partial head shots...I won't divulge any more information about them, but if you have been keeping up since page 1, then you know what is about to happen!

Scene: Not much necessary here. The 1st panel just needed an overhead shot of a pit, while the 2nd panel actually required a bit of a background, for placement. The rest of the panels are all close ups which got me out of more background, though I didn't originally plan it that way.
