Mistaken Identity COLOR

After learning of a secret meeting between Lacus Clyne & an undisclosed other party, a gang of thugs lie in wait to intercept her in her hotel room. However, Meer Campbell, being the other part of the meeting, arrives first, and is captured! Realizing that this very similar looking girl is not Lacus, this G decides to tie up Meer tightly and wait it out for the actual target. It doesn't take long. Lacus enters, and despite their differences, tries to help Meer and grabs for her gag to find out what happened, and she gets wrestled to the ground from behind! Despite her struggles, Lacus is just one firm knot away from being hogtied like Meer, and Meer tries to reach her knots, but fails. What will this act of villainy lead to???

This was originally a request which surprisingly became on of my more popular works, and therefore it made sense to color it, especially now that I have a better grasp on the characters. Gundam was essentially completely unknown to me when I first drew this.

Here is what I found while coloring:

Lacus Clyne: Out of the various outfits she apparently wears, this ninja-esque number looks great. It did suck that it consisted mainly of blacks and purples, but I lightened up the colors to make it work better. I also have discovered that I think her left shoulder and legs are both too large, but I didn't mess with the sketch other than cleanup.

Meer Campbell: This lookalike wasn't too difficult, although her outfit has some strange aspects. Her sleeves and gloves seem way oversized for her, and she has this weird "pants" thing that I had bunched up. Since her eyes were opened, I had to augment the eyes, and I think it worked.

"G": This lowlife was fun to color as it seemed very basic, but I really layed on the shadowing and highlighting. I screwed up the flesh color, but it actually came out to a better color so I left it as is. I used textures for his jeans and the bodyshirt & hat combo.

Scene: I didn't really do much here, other than a couple of gradients and some heavy textures. I did spend some extra time on the control panel for the heating/a/c unit, being it is a hotel room. Otherwise, the background is not one of my more detailed ones. I did have a new color references for the curtains, and I think I colored them better this time around.
